Connectivity to Data File Formats

Pervasive connectors enable rapid access to heterogeneous data. Whether your data sits in ASCII or Unicode flat files, Access or dBASE database files, or in Excel spreadsheets, Pervasive connects to that data as smoothly as the original applications. Just select the file type from the list in Pervasive Map Designer, select your file and visually browse data, including metadata such as column, table and field information. For fixed-length files, the visual parser makes defining fields point-and-click simple. Delimited files can be read instantly, displayed in clear rows and columns and written out with any delimiters or other formatting you choose.

Out-of-the-Box Data Connectors

In addition to data file integration, Pervasive has the widest connectivity available, with connectors to databases, technology and Web standards formats, legacy data and applications, message queues, B2B formats, an extensive list of applications and even unstructured data such as print files, reports and HTML.
