QuickArrow is a growing Austin, Texas-based Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution provider delivering its application via SaaS and integrating with leading sales force automation, CRM, ERP, HR and financial applications using Pervasive Data Integrator™. Known to many for creating the first Web Services API, QuickArrow services touch over 30,000 users in a variety of industries.
As the company expanded, QuickArrow specialists found themselves being diverted from their core competencies as they grappled with constantly varying customer application integration issues. There was a need for repeatable, predictable integration. Pervasive Professional Services teamed with QuickArrow to take their ongoing partnership to a new level, delivering easily configurable pre-built integrations to enable QuickArrow to quickly and cost effectively provide the specific finishing touches to meet individual customers’ business needs.
A need to focus on core competencies while delivering integration to customers
In its five years of partnering with Pervasive, QuickArrow consultants had become adept at using Pervasive Data Integrator™ to design PSA solutions for a range of customer integration requirements, with heavy emphasis on market-leading products like Salesforce and QuickBooks. However, as QuickArrow’s customer base grew, the range of product integration requirements grew as well, forcing QuickArrow consultants to spend more time solving integration issues and less on delivering automation solutions. The company estimated that over 50% of its new prospects signed-up for integration of some type. Technical Services Manager Dan Vrisimo said, “It’s (integration) considered a make or break for the sale. If we don’t have it, then we’re not even going to get in the sales cycle in the first place.”

Now, Pervasive Data Integrator™ within QuickConnectIT, an integration engine capable of integrating QuickArrow with almost any application, can be leveraged.
With the more than 150 standard Pervasive adapters in Pervasive Data Integrator, a well-defined configuration process instead of custom code development can be use to integrate with almost any other application, and the QuickArrow software (including integration to customers’ applications) can be delivered either via SaaS or on premise. The partnership has already completed more than 50 bi-directional integrations between QuickArrow and other best of breed applications such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Peachtree, Great Plains, Softrax and QuickBooks.
