Large migration allows Chevy Chase to take advantage of Salesforce

Pervasive Data Integration, within five days, completed a highly accurate migration and ongoing integration of ASCII fixed records. Throughput was 90,000 records per hour. Also, ongoing integration of ASCII to Salesforce required updating and consolidation of “child” records in CRM system while providing Salesforce IDs back to original system.

The robust solution handles interruption to Internet connections and allows the bank to integrate with Salesforce without system monitoring for restarts or administration.

Salesforce is now part of Chevy Chase Bank's CRM activities, and Pervasive Data Integrator made it happen with the migration of over 7.5 million ASCII files. The solution ran on AIX hardware. Besides completion of the project, Chevy Chase IT personnel quickly picked up how to use Pervasive Data Integrator.

More integrations planned

Chevy Chase IT personnel will use the Pervasive solution for future integration project, taking messages from WebSphere MQ and converting them to emails. Other projects also are envisioned.
